What happens when a modern day shaman tells a Knock, Knock joke, or a young girl hiding in the wood, sees a boy fly?

Knock, Knock', and 'The Voice From the Wood' are two world premieres. Thematically linked in dealing with violence and the supernatural, they are mature ghost stories with horror elements, unmasking private transgressions, and leaning towards the sublime. Brought to you by an award winning team with credits at Theatre 503, National Theatre, Hightide, & the Royal Court.

The Rise and Fall of Gestures Drama is a collection of 100 physical movements, each with a story behind it, documenting a history of 'gestures drama'; an allegorical form, both beautiful and strange which parallels theatre and film. The Hightide Warehouse Genesis lab brought together a group of talented actors, and creatives for a week in March to explore the world of the book, and create a process of discovery to aid a future adaptation and further exploration. The aim is to create a world both familiar and strange for the audience, using Greenaway's rich imagery, and poetic and highly visual language, and, of course, the movements.

Peter Greenaway, CBE, is an award winning director. He has given me permission to adapt this work.

The actors for the week were Jenni Jackson, Sean T. O' Meallaigh, Josh Ward, Orion Lee, Hannah Louise-Prior, Mairi Hayes, Lekan Lawal, Giovanni Bienne, Katerina Damvoglou. The creative team were Henry Martin (Project Leader) Bairbre Meade (Dramaturg) Konstantinos Thomaidis (Movement Director). Special thanks to Natalie Ibu, and the Hightide Team for their help during the week.

A reading of a new play by Henry Martin at the Jerwood Space featuring Sara Stewart and Ben Miles. Both established TV and theatre actors, Sara recently appeared at 'ENRON' in the West End and on tour, and Ben recently appeared in 'The Norman Conquests' at the Old Vic and on Broadway.

"War! Hotel? Help!" Locked away, three women must choose five words to help them escape. With freedom so close, will they survive, or will their past resurface, and imprison them forever? Challenging theatre from an award winning team.

'After Circles' by Henry Martin had its World Premiere at the Smirnoff Underbelly at the Edinburgh Fringe 2009.

Hosted by Playwright Rebecca Lenkiewicz (Her Naked Skin, The Night Season), the Miscellany Pub Quiz featured amazing prizes donated by The Pigalle Club, Harvey Nichols at the OXO Tower, the British Film Institute and photographer, Simon Annand, who donated a print from his recent collection 'The Half'.
